About Alegria Childcare
Alegria Childcare is based upon the philosophy of respect for the individuality of the child, his/her ability to grow, create, think, experiment and discover. Our teachers are appropriately qualified Infant and Toddler/Early Childhood Educators and they are required to have a current First Aid certificate, a criminal record check, and a physician's declaration of suitability in accordance with the Child Care Licensing Regulation. Staff members are required to participate in ongoing professional development programs by taking workshops and courses to update and acquire new skills. Our program is designed to provide opportunities to learn through play in all areas of development: social, emotional, physical and cognitive, while providing a safe, fun and loving environment for children. Our program include a preschool program in the morning,that contain phonics, music, and movement, language , math, sensorial stimulation, science, Spanish introduction and fine and gross motor activities.
