Our team of Physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to optimize recovery and prevent future injury. Manual therapy such as myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, deep frictions and soft tissue release decrease pain, increase joint range of motion and breakdown scar tissue. Modalities including ultrasound, laser, spinal decompression/traction, electro-muscular stimulation (EMS) and acupuncture, reduce inflammation/swelling, increase muscle strength and improve circulation. Athletic taping (Spider Tech / Kin) supports and stabilizes muscles and joints, unloads stress and corrects posture. Our Kinesiologists will customize and supervise an exercise program that's just right for you, whether it's to return safely back to work (work hardening), sport, a hobby, or simply day to day chores.
