About Elma Steel & Equipment Ltd
For over 40 years, Elma Steel & Equipment Ltd. has been the supplier of steel to an extensive customer base throughout Southwestern Ontario. The company has grown substantially since its founding in 1970 by Jack and the late Rebecca Schildroth. While it remains a family-run operation, the company has increased the number of branches and consequently its customer base and geographic coverage area. The company boasts branches in Listowel, Owen Sound and most recently opened a warehouse in Cambridge. Elma Steel began its success by specializing in quantities of steel smaller than what larger companies wanted to sell. Today, with three locations, the company continues to provide the best possible service to all its customers, large and small. Stocking over 1500 tons of material between the branches, the company strives to maintain a diverse inventory and competitive prices for its customers. Customer can pick up at any of the branches and regular delivery to all service areas is scheduled.
