About Fraser Valley Montessori School

Welcome to Fraser Valley Montessori School, located at SandyHill Elementary School. The school is a non-sectarian preschool and kindergarten, established in 1987 to encourage the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children according to the Montessori Method. Montessori is an education for independence, preparing not just for school, but for life. We have five Montessori-trained teachers on staff, who provide a caring and nurturing environment to encourage the love of learning in children. Our classroom at Fraser Valley Montessori School consists of a practical life area, sensorial area, number area, language area, science and geography areas, and a creative expression area.
