About Karen Britt Psychotherapy Services

I am a Registered Psychotherapist trained in Gestalt psychotherapy and Somatic body relational psychotherapy. My approach is supportive, relational, compassionate, gentle, and direct. I work with clients to co-create a space where self-exploration, growth and healing are possible in dealing with your current issues. My hope is to leave you with relational skills and self-awareness that will better serve you in dealing with current life events and relationships. Being a witness to your transformation is one of the greatest joys of my life. I operate from the belief that my clients know what they need and are in charge of the experience they want in therapy. My task as a gestalt therapist is to increase the clients' awareness of how they get stuck in making connections to themselves and others. Awareness is curative and growth producing. It enables the individual to understand the ways in which they contribute to their own circumstances.
