About Melissa Moore Optimum Body
I began working as a Kinetic Swedish Massage therapist in 2005. KSM is a technique that promotes greater amplitude of movement and helps to obtain total muscle relaxation with focus not only on the muscle belly but also the attachments- tendons. I then continued taking courses in Hotstone Massage, Reflexology and Massage adapted for pregnant women. In 2012 I decided to go back to school and take a course In Muscle Activation Techniques, and have been working in the field since 2013. MAT is a biomechanically based evaluation and treatment system that provides a systematic approach for treating muscular imbalances that contribute to injury and helps determine why there may be increased stress in the tissue or articulation.
