About Sk8 Skates

Sk8 Skates is more than just a skateboard store, it is a family of individuals committed to strengthening the Winnipeg skateboard scene. Sk8 Skates has been locally-owned, by skateboarders, since 1987 and is one of the longest standing skateboard shops in Canada. In 2020, new owners Fane and Kian Smeall, added snowboard gear back to the shop. Being enthusiasts themselves, this was an important addition and a nod to past owner Jai, who carried snowboard gear back in the day.
